We have received some complaints from some parents who said they were unaware of certain events/activities. These are the same parents who do not attend the Pack Meetings or Parent/Committee meetings/ which are held on the second Tuesday of each month.
Like most Cub Scout Packs, our Pack #67 is run by you, the parents of the Cub Scouts. The operations/activities/events are discussed at the Parent/Committee Meetings and voted on. If you have any suggestions or ideas regarding how you can run your Pack more effectively, please attend the next Parent/Committee Meeting on Tuesday/ June 8, 2004.
As we have been requesting for months, we need one or more volunteers to organize & run a summertime event, if you would like to volunteer please call me ASAP.
I expect to see everyone at the Cheesequake Firehouse on Saturday, May 29 @ 9:00 for the cleanup and on Sunday May 30 @ 10:00 for the Memorial Ceremony. This is the only service project that we have scheduled ail year. Cheesequake Firehouse is our Charter Organization, and this is how we show our gratitude to them.
We will be marching in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 31. Meet in the parking tot of Memorial School
We have scheduled two summertime activities: Sign up at the June 11th Pack Meeting:
- Beach Bonfire: Saturday July 24 9 8:30pm @ Laurence Harbor Beachfront
- Somerset Patriots Game: Color Guard: Sunday August 15 @ l:00pm. Tickets are $8
